Nothing new

At least for a little bit. I'm seeding stuff over at waffles.fm in order to get my ratio back up, because I downloaded a ton of new music in order to determine the best records of 2007. I'm in the process of listening to everything and trying to rank it all. Once that's done, I'll upload my favorite albums of the year and post them here on the first of January. I'd like to know all of your favorite records as well, so I don't miss anything good. Leave me suggestions in the comments to this post.

Some stuff is still up

There are a handful of albums still alive on MediaFire, so I'll post those here since I got requests for a few of them. If you want something that's not here, let me know in a comment on this post, and I'll see what I can do. Grab these while they last.

Manchester Orchestra - Nobody Sings Anymore
mewithoutYou - Blood Enough For Us All (Incomplete)
Patton Oswalt - Live at the Bottletree, Alabama (Bootleg)
Right Away, Great Captain! - The Bitter End (Andy of Manchester Orchestra's solo project)
Mike Birbiglia - Dog Years
Todd Barry - Falling Off the Bone
Bobcat Goldthwait - I Don't Mean to Insult You, But You Look Like Bobcat Goldthwait
Brian Regan - I Walked On the Moon

So much for the Rollins. Touch & Go really hates me sharing albums they didn't put out.

mewithoutYou - [A-->B] Life
mewithoutYou - Brother, Sister
mewithoutYou - Catch For Us the Foxes
mewithoutYou - I Never Said That I Was Brave
Tenacious D - The Pick of Destiny
Manchester Orchestra - Tree Sound Sessions
Manchester Orchestra - You Brainstorm, I Brainstorm, But Brilliance Needs a Good Editor
Autumn III: October in the Railroad Earth mixtape
All the Neutral Milk Hotel bootlegs/rarities in this post

Everything died

My friend who is hosting all the files just got an e-mail from his host today, saying that some jackass from Touch & Go Records reported Get in the Van, and now we have to take down all copyrighted stuff. The retarded thing is that Touch & Go, while they put out some other Rollins spoken word stuff, did NOT put out Get in the Van as far as I can tell. We'll look into alternative ways of continuing this site, but until then, there's going to be a bit of downtime. If anyone wants to re-upload files to Mediafire or something and then post links to them in the comments for their respective entries, that would be awesome. Let's keep this thing going. Fuck the music industry.

A Lump of Coal & Gary Hoey - Ho, Ho, Hoey! Vols. 1-3

I've uploaded all three Gary Hoey Christmas albums. I've also uploaded a compilation called A Lump of Coal, which features tracks by the Crash Test Dummies, The Primitives, Hoodoo Gurus, and Henry Rollins, who does a fantastic reading of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas".

A mixtape

For a change of pace, and because I've gotten no more specific requests for Christmas albums, I've uploaded a mixtape for all of you. Click here for a tracklist, and for the download link.

X-Mas Project

Power metal covers of Christmas songs by members of a bunch of German metal bands. You can read them on the cover. Apparently there are more albums by these guys. If someone has them, you should let me know.
